Illustrator and Fine artist

Jiyoon is a South Korean native that relocated to Portland, Oregon to pursue with her passion for Art. As the daughter of an art teacher, she was exposed to a variety of art-making processes at an early age. Through innovative thinking and extensive studio work, she creates harmonious images that are inspired by nature, fairy-tales, and children's book and conveys strong human emotions.

Currently, her medium of choice is paper cutting. She combines delicate shapes, intertwined lines, unique textures, and intriguing colors to create elegant, whimsical imagery.

She is heavily involved in the non profit community and has exhibited her works in galleries in Portland. She received her BFA in illustration from the Pacific Northwest College of Art.
